From Minnetonka, the Women's Ziigwan Waabigwan Flower Beaded Suede Moccasins feature:
Floral design by Lucie Skjefte - a Minneapolis-based designer, mentor, educator, and citizen of the Red Lake Nation Anishinaabeg whose work is rooted in activism that challenges the status quo with positivity. Her design for this shoe collection features a Zigwan Waabigwan (pronounced: Zeeg-one Waah-big-one), which translates to Spring Flower in Ojibwemowin, the language of the Anishinaabe people. In honor of this collection, Minnetonka will be donating to MIGIZI - a Native American non-profit selected by Lucie that serves Native American youth. For every pair purchased, a product lifetime royalty will also be paid directly to Lucie for her original design.
