Nestling deep in the luxuriant vegetation of the island of Moh li in the Comoros archipelago, this small, sun-loving flower with its yellow petals here displays neither languor nor opulence.

STORY

Here, the ylang-ylang flower takes centre stage, as it does on the island of Moheli in the Comoros archipelago, where this star-shaped yellow flower flourishes alongside lushious vegetation. It has never been experienced this way: green, spicy, slightly woody, without languor or opulence. Since 2013, along with the Givaudan Foundation, Diptyque has been supporting a ylang-ylang tree and firewood cooperative on the island of Moheli.
